Kangaroos are on the CITY side of the Causeway Road.
- the City side being the South Western End of the island.
There are fences, with gates to keep the kangaroos off the road.
- but, open to the public, and they kangaroos make great photo companions.
Leave footprints - Take photos, and enjoy..
On hot summer days, roos sleep in the shade of the trees..

Lake Lisa was designed by the East Perth Redevelopment Authority as
a water storage vessel, to serve also as a decorative reflection lake
during the daytime.
Aerator Fountains were added to the lake, to reduce the accumulation of algy,
which worked well, while at the same time replacing the "Glassy" reflections of the Lake with sparkles in the summer sun.

City Farm is an organic community garden, education and network centre that operates on permaculture principles. We promote healthy urban environments that are productive and diverse.
The East Perth City Farm was founded in 1994 as an initiative of the Planetary Action Network (PAN), the youth branch of Men of the Trees in Western Australia.
Before becoming an organic permaculture centre, the site was used as a scrap metal yard and a battery recycling plant. City Farm has transformed the site in order to demonstrate how heavily degraded land can be rehabilitated.
City Farm promotes environmental awareness and responsible practices by providing information, training and hosting community-based projects. With our parent body, Men of the Trees, we facilitate tree-planting trips around the State and hold public demonstrations for events and festivals.
City Farm also supports the local music and art community through regular concerts, festivals and exhibitions. City Farm facilitates government employment and service programs, permaculture tours and workshops for Primary and high school students.

The Court Hotel, once your in,you just wont want to leave. It is a PUB, with a dancefloor, and a great mass of folk looking to enjoy your company. If a chick chats you up, make sure its a chick. If a chap chats you up, it is a compliment, just relax and enjoy, make the most of it..life is too short to shorten your odds of happiness..

NORTHBRIDGE TUNNEL (East Opening) - leads to the West Opening - with NO TRAFFIC LIGHTs inbetween.
1st turn off leads to James Street Northbridge
and the Right FORK off this leads to Freeway South.
2nd Turn off - leads directly WEST to Cambridge Street - right out to the edge of
the Ocean at City Beach.. The swimming is great.
The Ocean is so close to East Perth Now - the Tunnel is a GREAT IMPROVEMENT for the City..

WELLINGTON SQUARE,
The Green Eastern End of the NORTHBRIDGE VALLEY.
Wellington Square is home for various team sports, while providing welcome Cool Shade in a growing City.
Wellington Square is a short walk from Claisebrook Rail Station - and Cyclepaths to Guildford, and to both sides of the Swan River in both directions.
Its great to live in a City, and be surrounded by parks, river and mostly LEVEL cycleways..

Wonderful opportunity exists TO display
"Intermodal Transport Through Time",
with internal spaces that might display smaller planes, vintage cars - and being at the very edge of the Swan River - a range of boats - through time..
The nearest Electrified Rail Station is Claisebrook where rotated vintage trains could be displayed along the edge of the Dual Use Pathway..
